SRS light flashes

I presume the way it flashes is a code.

I get 4-6 repeating.

Which sensor is it so I can get the darn light to shut off and my airbags working again.

thanks!

well, thats fun. Any idea as to expected resistance of the pretensioner? I know where the connector is (under the seat) So I could get at it to test it.

I like troubleshooting!

I would disconnect it and try cleaning it. I don't know the resistance.

i will do that as well, just a little panel to take off to double check wires on it.

If not, new part is only 200 bucks! haha

Thanks for the help.

No problem. Hopefully someone else will chime in to confirm what I found for the code. I would hate to see you spend money on the part and it not fix it. Keep us posted.

I wont spend money until its confirmed. Besides, my ford dealership is useless, they wouldnt have the part anyways. (they dont have many parts in stock for the F350s because there are not a lot of them in town)

Both pretensioners (driver and passenger) tested the same resistance, so....I presume broken wire/awful connection somewhere.

At least its not a 200 dollar fix..just a pain in the butt one to trace the busted/messed up wire.

Anyone know where the SRS compter is?

Any tips on chasing a broken wire/bad connection? I ought to buy some t-pins or something I guess.
