power pedal question

I have a 2006 ford f250 supercab lariat diesel with every option besides power pedals and a sunroof. I took apart my dash to install some gauges and noticed that where the power pedal fill plate is there where wires running ti it. What I mean by this is that where the switch is supposed to be there were actually wires running to it. Does this mean that if I buy the power pedal switch that I may actually have the power pedals option but just not the actuall switch.

I will probably never use them but it would be nice to have them if I do. Would ford install the power pedals and not include the swithc. I do have all the options so mayby at the factory they just include all the usual options and jsut customize the order for the particular customer. Hopefully this is the case so that I can add power pedals to my truck for really no cost; I mean really how much could a switch be. Thanks and look forward to hearing your opionions.

I dont think you have the power pedal mount. The wiring harness is generic. If you look under the dash where your pedals are you should see a motor that drives both the gas and brake pedal mount. If I get a chance I will post a pic.

The pedals would be attached to a tube like device if you had it. It won't work with out it.

I will ahev to check it out to see if I have the tube like device when I egt off work tongith. i am not to worried about because me and my brothers, the only people who i trust to drive my truck are all the same size. I have really never moved my seat at all. It would just be nice to add if in fact I did have the pedals.
