listen to radio w/ doors open?

With my 2006 F250 Superduty,
is there any way to listen to the radio with the doors open, engine shutoff, w/o the "key in ignition" chime gonging and gonging and gonging?:

Open the driver door take a pen and slide it into the latch on the door. It works like the striker and to get it out just pull one of the handles. Just remember to pull the pen out before closing the door.

Take the cover off the steering wheel, tilt lever just screws out. Turn your key to the on position, then use a pointed object to release the tumbler, pull it out. There is a little switch that is stuck in the tumbler. pull it out and tape it up. tuck it back in the steering wheel. put the tumbler back in reasemble the steering wheel cover and no more dinger when the door is open and the key is in the ingnition. I have done this to several superduty's. Works every time.

Just turn the key to the on position. You can open the doors and not have the gong.

On the door itself , just flip that latch down ? I tried it with a screw driver but was un sure and didn't want to break anything .

yeah but at first that runs the glowplugs, fuel pump, all that. The point is to have the key on the acc position and not have the dinger. I ripped that switch out and threw it away. I hate it. It still dings for the GP's and all that but no dinger when the door's open. It's great. One of the better mods lol!

From what I understand, the glow plugs turn themselves off after 2 minutes but correct me on that if I am wrong.
