How to repair/ replace seat leather

Hey guys,

One of my good buddies has an 03 f350 4x4 with the lariat package, and gray leather seats. The leather portion on the drivers seat where your butt goes... (called the cushion maybe) has torn away at the seam on the left side of the seat and almost folded completely over on itself exposing a lot of the foam. I am wondering if anyone has had experience repairing/ replacing the leather material on these seats. The back, arm rests, etc are ok, but the cushion portion needs to be replaced. I have seen the cushion replacement kits on ebay, and some other places, but I'm wondering how hard this would be to do.

Thanks Guys,

05 F350 CC LB FX4 Lariat, ARP studs, new head gaskets, Barder Stage 2.5 turbo, warren diesel 175/30 injectors, Odawg ported manifold, no limit fab up pipes, S&B cold air intake, sinister coolant filter, BPD water pump, IPR EGR delete, MBRP turbo back exhaust no muffler or kitty, edge insight monitor, tunes from Matt @ geadheads, rancho rs9000xl adjustable shocks .

It isn't hard to change. Just need a hog ring plier. A pneumatic one is nice.
