another sub box question

Well i wanted to ask every one if they had a good answer to my problem, If you know your subs, i have a solobaric L7 12. My rig is a 04 F250 4 door. i have the 60-40 bench seets. The sub is now behind the front seets in the middle where the front bench folds down. The deal is the box is WAY to small, and on hard hits it sounds like a can rattling. lol. I wanted to put the sub behind the back seats but there is NO way it can fit. The sub is over 8 inches deep, and the back seats are not that deep. So is there a way that i can get around this. Is there a way i can put spacers under the rear seats and raise them up to make room? im just kinda lost and i dont want to get another sub to make it work, its such an expencive sub. So do any one have any ideas? any help would be great.

Thinking...thinking...thinking. Well, you could...well no, that wont work, umm, you could try...Nope that wont do it either. How about a little...dang, stopped again. Sorry Slammed, not coming up with anything right now that wont cause a bunch of work.

thats a deep @zz sub, best i can do is move the seat up as much as it can comfortably go and make the sub box 8.25" deep and long to make up for the air space and mount the sub as low as possible

i was gonna get a JL W7 which is around that deep... after weeks of trying to figure out how to fit it me and my friend (installs sups for a living) gave up... i settled on 2 W3's that barely fit in a custom box behind the seat..... they hit hard and is more than enough base for me.... so as for your question im at a lost.... hope you figure something out...

I just thought about something. Anyone see that stuff that looks like the crap they put in teddy bears. You stuff the box with it. Its ment to make the box sound bigger then it really is? maybe that would work. or i could port it? idk. I really want to put it behind the back seats. so it would have to be pushed forward about 4-5 inches. Im gunna go take some measurements right now.

Polly fill, I used it on all the boxes I built. I could tell a difference. I also tried to get my airspace as close as I could.

See thats the problem, there is bearly any air speace at all. Now tell me this, What if i take the sub out of the box and turn it upside down. make the magnet stick out of the box so the sub basses into the box. i have seen this done several times to get more airspace. then maybe i can use the teddy bear stuff with it.
