Just built this Box and need seat help!!

Alright, so in my other thread "Where to put my Subs," I attempted to make a fiberglass box but didnt like it. I got the day off work and decided to make this wedge box. These speakers are deep so the box had to be this size. The problem is the rear seats dont fit. Should I redrill the brackets to move the seat forward or any other ideas? Also, is there any way to get rid of that metal sticking out right below the rear window? Im not sure why its there.

And all that stuff is video equipment installed by the previous owner.
