Any particular care of the King Ranch Leather?

Getting my new one Delivered as we speak.... Only one I have ever even seen in Australia!!!!!!!

Saddlesoap? Anybody out there have a few year old King Ranch leather one?
The heat here is awesome in the Outback, would be like Texas Desert or something.... That is why I got a white top one with Arizona Beige lower panels... Thought it might be a bit cooler on the leather.

Anyone have any thoughts on care? I am like a little 55 year old kid, waiting for my new Tonka Twuck to arrive in the next 72 hours.. Probably won't even sleep!!! A full import Ford CC 4x4 350 Dually is a BIG DEAL in this remote island.. Ha! Never even seen one, let alone have anyone to ask about care on..!!!!!

Best Regards to all, lone Ranger

I'd say tint the windows dark, and condition that leather monthly. That stuff is like right off the cattle's back. Marc told me a while back that there is a special bottle of something that he'd recommend using, but I can't remember that now.

Sounds like you're in for a "ride" haha... have fun.

Yea, if it doesn't get here by the weekend, it is going to be hard keeping my mind on training horses for fun.... If it does, I won't be doing much horse training anyways!!! Ha!

Be lucky if I can get any sleep. This is a big deal here in Oz... You don't just go down to the corner and get one of these... So it is OK if I act like a little kid just before Christmas... Ha! LOL

Thank guys, this Forum is great! No one in Oz would even know what a King Ranch Effie was!...

Kind Regards, Beer is on me... Ranger

Hi ya Stump!

Yea, probably a bit childish of me... Thank God we can be that way!!! Even at 55!!! But, it is a big deal down here. Of maybe 1000 tow vehicles towing Bushtracker vans, and all the 4x4 Clubs I have ever seen, and all the horse events and trucks, this would have to be up there in the top few if not NUMBER 1...

I am stoked that I took the plunge. If business is good, in the next year or so I might just have to get the new 6.4 after you guys run its guts out and find if it has any weak points... That will be just about the time the "new car smell wears out, time to get a new one!!! Ha!

Doing my Patriotic part to keep Ford going!!
