I mounted mine on the downside of the dash, but that was in my 96. Not real sure if youd have a place to do it in a Superduty. I wanted to mount it on the roof but theres a huge gap between the headliner and the roof steel.

I dont have a CB, but I do have my amateur radio "ham" license (Same idea, little longer distances).
I opted for the radio with the detachable face plate. I just tuck the body under the seat or behind the dash, mounted the face on a blank spot just below the radio, and have all the cable coming out behind the face so nothing is visible.
Not sure if they make anything like that for CB...but if they do, sounds like something to spend some more $$ on

i had a PITA time finding a plase for my trailer brake controller as far as the CB i think i'd have to bite the bullet and either mount it on the dash or under the seat. Since you have it there now can you just zip-tie the mic cable to the rear-view mirrors mount arm(kinda run it over the top) then just clip the mic to the dash?

My dad mounted his on the back wall between his seats right under thewindow so all he had to do was turn his head to see the cb. Hope this helps.

hold on!! better late than never. anyway, jc-whitney and others i guess sell this little deal called a shelf-it. it bolts to the cab via sunvisor bolts or screws.i havent got one yet but REALY want one. so, you could just mount your bracket to the under side of the shelf. might want to check in to it.

I've gotta check that out then too because the only reason I haven't mounted mine is because I can't find a place either. Plus I don't want some big antenna, because I have enough clearance problems as it is in parking garages.

i dont think so. but a bottle of mirror glue is only 2 or 3 bucks. relocate it yourself i guess, if its not right where you want it.
