pillar gauges

I'm looking to install a pillar gauge set in an 03 super duty, Just wondering if one brand is better than another? How durable And how hard was it to run the wires? Thanks Darcy

If you have an automatic tranny, it should not be too bad to run what you need. I have a standard and the big hole that is in the firewall in the auto trucks has stuff in it in the standard trucks. Kind of sux. What kind of application are you planning. Pulling a little or compitition pulls. I am sure there are several digital guages out there that are fine, but from first hand accounts, and from what a few others have said, they might not read the same as a quality manual guage. Food for thought.

Might want to read this thread Manual vs. Electronic Gauges. I went with the ISSPRO mechanical guage setup (pyro, trans temp, and boost) and really like them. Autometer and Diprocol (sp?) gauges are some other brands that are mentioned quite a bit. Running the wires isn't too bad, but if you get a pyro it requires that you drill the manifold and some don't like the idea of doing that.
