07 add heated seats
You would need to take the seat apart, take the covers off, which means cutting the hog rings, put in the heaters, route the wires to the seatbelt side corner of the seat. Then install new hog rings, or like my case, as I don't plan ahead well, use zip ties instead. Then wire the heaters to a switch. The stock ones have the switches on the side of the seat, but any aftermarket switch will do.

What exactly are the "hog rings" and where is a good place to get the heater elements? Also is it possible to add cooled seats?

If you want factory heated seats I have the airing harness for the cab off a truck that had heated seats. Pm me if you need it.

Hog rings are basically a heavy gauge wire ring used to secure upholstery to seats. They require a special pair of pliers to install them. They can be a PITA to install. I thought about getting cooled seats however after talking to a buddy of mine who has them in his Expidition he hates them. Of course he got in his truck with a set of keys hanging on his belt loop when he got out of the truck on of the keys had gotten stuck in the perforations and ripped the crap out of his leather seat. I have a hard enough time keepi g my plain leather seats from cracking.
