Alright ive got a 04 f350 crew cab lariat dually that I need to get the rear seat to come oug. But i have a fold down steel plate that comes down and I cant figure out what size insert i need to get it out. This steal folding plate thing is stopping me from replacing the carpet in tbe truck. Um, the tray is part of the seat assembly.

Remove the 7 highlighted bolts:

You will probably need to do some combinations of partially opening and closing the various seat parts to get your ratchet in there and turn it, but they all come out pretty easily.

Once you get all the bolts out, fold the tray under the seat, flip the backs down, get your buddy on the other end, rotate it 90 degrees, and walk it out the door.

Assembly is the reverse of dis-assembly.

Ok. But is there any way to get that fold out tray to be removed from the seat assembly? Anything i place on it slides all over and id rather have the space under the seat
