Dash lights

Is it possible to change the color of the lights in your dash behind the gauges? If so is it an easy job?

it is possible, but it requres removal of the instrement cluster. On a scale from 1-10 of the job, 1 being tailight bulb replacement and 10 being full motor overhaul, id call it a 3-4 based on the possibility of breaking trim panel retaining clips...

not sure about the F-250 but I did remove the entire cluster in my 04 F-150 and swapped it out with the much cooler FX4 cluster. The removal was surprisingly easy. However, getting to the bulbs might be a different story. Do you not love the green lighting? What color are you looking for? Just curious.

well, i was looking around in some of the garages in this site and i ran across a pic of a burnt orange truck. It had bright orange lights to match his paint. I kinda wanted to go with a different blue to spice things up a bit. also with a white faced gauge set and blue needles.

I came across this in one of my 4x4 mags, maybe they will have what you are looking for. www.usspeedo.com I noticed that they had needle kits and overlay clusters with blue lighting.
Thanks for the e-mail too.
