I check the windshield with warm soapy water and lots of compressed air. The windshield is not the problem. I need to look else where now. A guy at a body shop told be that the drains for the sunroof get clogged and build up water at the top of the pillars. That is where I am seeing the water. I just need to find the drains to blow them out and see that fixes it.

A bit of a long shot here but if you PM me your VIN I'll run an Oasis Report for you to see if it's been into the dealer for this problem before. Maybe the sunroof or windshield has had issues in the past when it was under warranty.

Wash the truck. Go to one of them drive through car washes. When you go through it look around the area where you see evidence of a water leak. Another thing you can do is do this with the headliner removed. I have found many water leaks like this.

My parents have a 2005 F350 and it leaked from day one so they have had it re-sealed 3 different times. It seems to be good now. My wife and I have a 2005 Ford five hundred and we have also had to reseal the windshield 2 times from when we bought it with 43k on it. The rubber gasket just kept pulling out, especially when going through car washes. 2nd time it happened i fixed it with true super glue and its stiffer than the rest of the gasket. Just hope we don't have to replace the windshield someday. Poor glass guy is gonna have fun

Quick check

There are sun roof drains that run down the pilars and center support between the doors, one of them might have come loose.

Oh

One other trick turn the ac on high and on reserculate and go around the suspectd external leak area with a spray bottle full of soapy water. If its an external leak "not the drain tubes" it should bubble up.

I just replaced the sunroof drains, not difficult. Hardest part is pulling down the headliner in one piece. The drain tubes were undersize or shrunk, got hard and cracked. The drains were plugged with dead bugs and dirt. Took a little time regluing the headliner a little at a time. Now it drains without a problem.
