DIY pillar pod

i,m working on a pillar pod that holds 3 gauges and the edge insight cts.
Could not find any online so i decided to build my own.
I have the original ready but i wonder if this one may block my vieuw more than for example a pillar pod from any of the online shops.

it,s time to make the mold, but i would like to get some input on the size,it seems a little big to me.But i,ve never seen a 4 or 3 pod in person.

I don't think that's bad at all. Looks really neat actually. It's hard to tell how much it actually blocks your view unless you're actually sitting in the drivers seat.

If you make any to sell let me know!

Good work.. I've worked fiberglass and carbon fiber for years, mold making requires skills! If u make the mold with a 10" flange you can ship that to my dads shop and have it made out of carbon fiber- resin infused and vacuum formed... NO AIR POCKETS!! Check out their website and work www.swfabrication.com

Mts
carbon that would be awesome...i have seen some online $$$.

P.s i,m just a boat fiberglass repair guy and thought what the heck and give it a shot.
i,m gonna cut this one up,weatherstrip doesn,t align nicely and the backside of the 3 meters is to bulky i.m.o.

i ordered glowshift tow max meters i know they are 52mm does anybody know the depht of these gauges?(millimeter)

if this project works,i have no problems with making some extra ones.
Untill the mold breaks that is,i think i have to flex it to get the original out.
Lots of mold release and pva.
it could break at the first atempt,...i hope not.

ps merry christmas

yeah it's $$$ because of alot of labor, and materials that are wasted each time a carbon fiber part is made. But I could help save you a lot of $$ since you have the part made, which can be used as the plug to make the mold- just don't cut out any of the gauge areas, leave them filled in. A carbon fiber pillar gauge would look fvckin sick man!
