Very nice, can't wait to see it finished. I've been playing with the idea of making one for my truck. I'd like to have a smaller compartment on the driver side for my Glock.

It will have concealed pistol safe as well. I have been bondo and sanding this thing off and on overf the past week, I had training last week so not much progress but I hope to finish this week or weekend. Have to goo out of town for work after christmas so no time then either, I have had the passenger seat out for 2 weeks now for test fits and am ready to put this thing back together.

Got some sanding done, and mounted the sub. I put a few coats of paint on to allow it to start soaking it up. I made a big mistake in not using enough hardener in the bondo especially at zub-freezing temps in the shop overnight. It never fully cured and I spent a few hours with a putty knofe scraping off the uncured stuff.

All the corners and such were good because they were a different layer, but the skim coat didnt work. I figure its not going to matter anyhow since the paint is textured similar to the dash with the high nap roller. I managed to mix a few mistints I picked up at lowes for $3.50 and match the seats pretty close. The only pleather I could find in town was a few shades lighter so I mixed some lighter paint to match it as well

I think its going to turn out pretty good

Nicely done! Here in the near future I will be building a console to house my kicker 12", amplifier, cb and whatever else I decide to stuff in there.

Thinking I'll be using MDF board for the sub box and the rest will be stained wood.

I left the middle seat bracket in and put a support from side to side and bolted it through. it keeps it from sliding or bouncing, although it wieghs a ton and im not sure it would move anyhow. its mounted in the truck, it turned out pretty good, I have been working out of town and am only home on the weekends so i have not had a chance to take pics yet. ill try and get some tomorrow.
