Overhead Console Question

I was wondering if there is a way to get one of those overhead consoles that list the mpg/distance till empty and has map lights to fit on an F250 that is only an XLT, I got pretty much every option with mine that was available, and I thought that it might be in there, but its not. Does ford still do that, or is the MPG shown in the cluster? If I can get one of those consoles, would it be as simple as plugging a wire into my computer or is it more complicated? I would think that every truck has the capability to calculate the mpg and DTE, and all you'd have to do is link to the computer.

He's got the console part, just not the ability to tell you the mpg, or dte, so I still got to find one of those or at least find out if it is at all possible.

FWIW: my 06 KR has the MPG meter right between speedo and tach. It's part of the general information display - which door is open, trailer not connected, etc...
