Rear captains seats? Will it work?

I have a bench seat in the rear of my truck. I know king ranches come with captains in the rear, I assume I could pick up a set of front captains chairs and they would bolt in the back? Maybe also hook the power to them so they could be adjusted? Has anyone done this or have some info they can share on it?

Anything is possible. I did this in my Explorer, but not with power. I had custom brackets welded to bottom of the factory brackets and had holes drilled in these new brackets to line up with the holes in the floor. Then I built a custom center console. I went ahead and mounted them almost a foot further back in the vehicle, providing a ton of leg room, and the seats can be moved forward and back and recline, the seatbelts function, etc. For power you'd just have to run 12v and ground. Simple enough.

In an F250, since you can't move them much further back, and in order to have them not sit up perfectly straight, the front edge of the seat bottom might be too far forward, putting your knees in the back of the front seats and possibly making it tough to get in and out of the back. Do a crap ton of measuring first.

I dont want to do any fabricating/welding of brackets or anything... I just figured since the king ranch trucks have captains and center consoles, then the holes would be there in the body. I guess I will need to pull the seat out one weekend here soon and check it out!

I think the rear buckets are smaller than fronts, and the brackets would be different, with bolts in the same spots as a bench, to match the rear floor holes for any crew cab.

I don't have rear buckets in my F250, so maybe I'm mistaken.

Maybe you could swap the brackets from your bench onto some front buckets. You'd probably still have to do some fab work, and they still might be too big.
