Back bench seat question

My back seat in my crew cab isn't working, the bottom section folds up but the drivers side back section wont fold down, the passenger side seat folds up and down, it worked fine for the longest time and now i can't get it to move, any tricks to getting it to go down??

Its not exactly a trick but when mine gets stuck i have to sit on the seat and push back against the seat upper towards the truckbed and operate the handle to get it to move. I havent found a permenant fix though as this way works well enough for me. Hopefully someone else can chime in with something better to do.
