EGT Guage Mount?

I am looking to get an EGT guage installed now that Ive picked up the SCT Tuner and am wondering if i am forgeting any mounting spots. Id prefer to keep my A-pillar handle if possible and i dont want to block the boost guage with th steering column mount. Any thoughts. Thanks in advance.

I have seen gauge pods above the rear view mirror.

I run mine in a single cup pillar, that fits well under the factory grab handle.

With the EGT gauge you won't make it to an above the mirror pod, due to you cannot splice in additional length to the probe (its a calibration concern).

My Edge CS is mounted by my A pillar and my EGT gauge runs to it from under the dash.

I posted about the pod above the rear view mirror and then logged out and started to leave from work. On my drive home I started to ponder the EGT probe length. Thanks Colo_Dually for setting things straight. I would not want to misguide anyone.
