Finish on the back of the cab.

I noticed the metal behind my back seat is bare. Is there supposed to be a material covering on it? It's not that big a deal but I thought if it would be easy to cover I'd go ahead and do it. Could help with road noise plus, with the back seat down it looks like crap.

If there's supposed to be a material covering is there any good reason it would have been removed?

Also, what would be a good inexpensive covering?

Thanks

Yes mine is a black felt like material. Removal because a sub box was previously installed. I would use fatmat/dynamat/peel&seal/lizard skin. Then put felt material over it.

I do have a sub-box (from previous owner) behind the seat. Is the fabric removed to make space for the box or does it affect the sound from the sub?

Thanks
