Auto climate control conversion

Now I know this has been asked a few times and I keep getting misguided or unfinished information. To my understanding it is possible to take the manual dial controls for the HVAC and switch them to the fancy digital ones. Now I already have a lariat F-350 with that little vent looking thing on the right of the steering column. I just want to know; Has an one successfully done this? How difficult was it? (not that it would be too hard for me to do I just need an idea how much time I would need) And what parts do I need? Thanks in advanced!

looked into it when i wanted to start and was told it wold take a complete dash swap along with lots of wiring harnesses

I definately think its makes the dash that much modern considering how plain and boring ford is with their technology to begin with, even though it may be an involved job itll give your dash a nice touch
