Anyone using a CTS dash pod, need some help?

So I have a CTS and dash pod and really do like the looks of it. Problem is the Velcro and 3m adhesive tabs it came with suck! A few of them keep coming loose and pod keeps coming loose from dash. Does anyone know of any tricks or additional ways to secure the pod more securely to the dash? Any help is appreciated as always!

I have an 06 KR too. I had to reshape the pod to fit correctly. Once I did that...fits great and stays put using just the stuff they sent with the pod. I rebent a few of them, but it is rock solid.

Did you have a clearance issue with the grab bar? Without doing some modifing, mine would not fit.

Not too bad, the CTS kind of wedges in there against the grab handle. The main tab I'm having issues with sticking is the one on inner left side of pod. That seems to be where it keeps coming loose

I also had to re-shape my dash mount a little. I actually went too far with the first one and called edge about it. Pretty much asking why we needed to modify something they said was for the KR and X's specifically. Too my surprise, they sent me another one. I used almost all of the pieces and plastic-velcro from both of them. My mount does not move at all.

so really what your saying is that I just need more velcro mounts than the three that came with it to make it more secure. Maybe there is someway I can fab up some more

When I installed mine, two years ago, I have never had a problem with it. I did use some of the extra pieces I had from the first mount kid. I just thought more would be better, and apparently it was/is.

I tossed the included rigid velcro. I have previous experience with that crap. It works great for the wife's pictures but it doesn't flex enough for automotive use (vibration). Get some industrial quality original velcro and you will be much happier.

Mine just touches the grab handle.
