Front Windows 'Squawking'
I've noticed my two front windows make terrible noises going up and down. I've searched and searched for an answer to my problem but come up empty handed. Does anyone else have issues with their windows making terrible racket rolling up and down. My previous 04 never made these noises but this one sure does. Sounds like the seals are dragging or something along those lines. Someone else tell me they've had similar issues...

You are not alone. Mine even have tiny scratches from prev owner. I clean the rubber part with a tint install tool and it goes away till it gets dirty again.

It doesn't really sound like a scraping or scratching sound. It's more like the entire glass is in a bind with the jamb or something. I may have to try and take a video of it moving up and down and try to post it on here to demonstrate.

The windows in my '04 do it, but only when it's cold out. The noise is a really quick chirp when I start to put them down.

Did that ever work for you? I know exactly what you're explaining. Doesn't matter what time of day or year, it squawks

I finally found the culprit. Once I took the door panel off, I noticed a couple of U shaped tracks. I'm these tracks, if I remember correctly, are a couple of sliders with poly bushings. Those bushings are causing the squawking as it runs up and down the track. I slathered a bunch of lithium grease in those tracks with my fingers, ran the windows up and down, smeared more grease, etc. Did that several times and it finally quieted down.
