what is this????

i have an 04 250 and there is a built in plastic hook/hangar on the lower right hand side of the center of the dash... what is this for??? i noticed it is in all the super dutys. just cant figure it out i know it sounds dumb just bugging me.

I had always thought it might be for a CB radio. I doubt thats what it is though. Just my guess lol

i thought it was for a cb at first but i mounted mine under the center of the dash and the hook is on the other side and low. i cant figure it out its annoying haha

My guess is to hang a hat or small trash bag on. Someone else suggested to hang a purse on but I decided he was gay and doesn't get a vote.

When test driving a truck with the scanner hooked up I'll pull the cord through the hook to keep it off of my right foot.

I have been trying to figure out what could be made to go there but I haven't been inspired yet.

usafbowman...the gay guy works for me. Your purse holder is acceptable because you don't carry one.

i like the pistol holster idea make sure you dont leave it viable there tho if you leave the truck to go somewhere
