Installing gauges

I am installing my gauges tomorrow. Fuel pressure, EGT, tranny temp, and boost. I have watched every video on YouTube on the glow shift gauges. That's the brand I got. My question is in the directions it says I can get one of the wires I believe orange to be wired in to the headlight switch to turn lights off and on. How do I do that. Please help. I don't want these things to be on all the time. Which is what happens if I go with the same wire deal as the video. Tapping in to another switched color.

I used a fuse tap/add a fuse in the fuse box under the driver side dash panel. Want me to go look at which fuse I used? I used the headlight fuse but might try and find the running light fuse because when I turn on my high beams the gauges get brighter as no power is going through that fuse when the highs are on.
