Little Cubby

My 05 CC has a little cubby with a door on it right about where your right knee is. The latch on mine is broken, so i have no idea how to get it open. Any ideas? I'm not sure how the latch mechanism works. I'd appreciate some help y'all!

If youre talking about the mini glovebox under the brake controller there is piece that looks like a house door latch so that you can close it without holding the handle. This moves parallel with the outside of the dash.

you can pop the dash off, it is just held in place by clips. the lower section with the cig lighter, brake controller and upfitters can be removed with 5 screws. go to the wreckers to get a new door with a working handle

i have the same problem, I literally just took my pocket knife and used it to wedge the top open and i grabbed and pulled slowly and evenly. It came open and I just leave it open. Maybe someday I will find a replacement. *any ideas from where to get one* Or make it into a concealed gun location.

I have been looking for one of those doors for about 3 months, the one in my truck is broken. I just cant bring myself to spend the 80 bucks to replace it just yet. Patrick

any got a picture im looking but dont see anything like that is it under the dash or if i had one would i know it
