08-10 interior panels fit in the 05??

Guys does anyone know if a 08 F250 interior door panel will fit in the 05's? cab looks identical to the 08 minus hood/grill and fenders... just a thought.. i've been wondering so hoping someone else has maybe done this or heard of it done.

End goal is to swap out my interior panels for 08.. i like that style

Very easy conversion. As for the seats, it's a bolt in ordeal with some wiring mods. I have the seats and console in my truck, didn't like the 08 panels or dash though, I feel as though the newer interior is more utilitarian-too many sharp edges for me.

Are you sure the door panels fit? I have a set, and for some reason they will not seat all of the way down on my 2000. Just wondering if you have seen this done, or read about it on this forum somwhere? I have searched and cannot find any thing to help me out. I got the wiring part all figured out, but if the panels won't fit properly, now what?

Where wont it fit properly? Mine is just the drivers door on the top and I think it's because of the actual panel from shipping or something

That is where I'm talking about. The top part doesn't seat down and lock into place. It seems to pop out if you happen to grab that area, especially if the window is down. I have only tried the drivers side for now. Not sure what will happen with the other 3 doors, (crew cab) Is this the same problem with yours? I have read somewhere that the door handle needs to be moved down slightly, but I have actually removed it completly and still the same issue on the top.

Yea the black plastic parts around each door handle need to be removed, you can trim them to fit later but I never did. I was actually going to take off the drivers door this weekend and take another look at it. I know the passenger one fits a lot better, you have to pull on the top part pretty good to get it to pop off but the drivers door fitment isn't as great as I thought it would be. But I still gotta look at it again this weekend

Cool. Keep me posted if you find out anything on this. I sure would like to make the swap. But the poping out would drive me nuts. Thanks Man.
