Swapping from 99-05 to 06+ style power mirror switch...?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone swapped out their pre-06 power mirror switch for a 06+ style? I think the entire bezel has to be swapped for it to work....

If anyone has any info, that'd be great!

I did that a while ago and also did the rear view mirror swapped the oval for the rectangular one, you need the bezel and pigtail for the mirrors, to wire it in.

Good to know - There are no decent junkyards around here that would have anything to take one off of.

Its really easy all the wires are the same color it makes it a very straight forward swap.

Does anyone have the p/n for the pigtail from Ford? Or better yet, access to a parts truck that has the pigtail for the 06-07 style switch??

I finally found an '06 bezel with the switch, but now am in need of the wiring plug to wire up to my '05's wiring.

Anyone know where I can get some wiring?
