XLT to Lariat cluster swap

I have been doing some searching and this question has been asked quite a few times and never answered.

What does it take to install a lariat cluster in were an xlt cluster is. Vehicle I have in question is an 05' 350. Manly lookingh for the MPG read-out.....

Anyone ever get this to work?

Thanks for any info

There is a write up somewhere, and it was in-depth. Edge cs/cts has an instantaneous mpg pid, easier install too.
