Seat mount cover trim... What a POS.

I have an 07 and needed to remove the seats for stereo install. When I removed the bolt/nut trim covers the little tin retainers that fit over the bolts/nuts and retain the plastic trim piece all broke. Seems like a horrible design to me as there is no real way to remove them without them breaking off??!! I think out of 6 I was able to successfully remove 2 without the clips breaking off (more luck than effort).

Anyone know where I can get replacements without being ripped?

Thanks.

I hate when that happens.
Maybe check in with a body shop that deals with Fords. Yeh - some clips just aren't user friendly!

Yeah, they are junk. I just had my interior out for a stereo too. I broke all but one of them, and I was really careful after breaking the first one. I'm going to try using epoxy to glue the little silver rings back on the plastic nubs, but if that doesn't work, I say forget them. My cousin's 05 doesn't even have them except on the two rear bolts on the front seats. It looks fine without them.
