adding aux switches?

i have an 05 f250, and i want to add the aux upfitter switches on the dash for some lights. right now there is just a small pocket next to the brake control, doest that pop out? how hard would it be to add the aux switches?

That plastic thing to the left of the brake controll looks like maybe a coin holder?.. Well that pops out, so look behind it to see if there is a plug there already. If there is then you may be lucky enough to plug and play. My 07 came with them already. Next if the plug is there look under the dash on driver side behind fuse box, ( need to lay on your back by the pedals) look for a bundle of wires should be taped up. Start there

To say that. 2 are thick and 2 are thin. Aux 1 and 2 are 30 AMP and AUX 3 and 4 are 10 amp. Again I don't know if the 05 was set up for it. I know 06 was

When you buy the upfitter switch kit (key word kit) it will come with eveything you will need to install. The cubby hole thing pops out and the upfitter switches fit in there. I did this on my 06. Do a search on this forum and you will find a wealth of info on how to install them.

Go to orders@rearcounter.com for the upfitter awitches. Part #'s are
5C3Z-13D730-AAA is $36.62, and cost of the 5C3Z-14A303-AA is $59.09. One is the harness and the other is the switches, you need both. Installed them myself took about 30 minutes. The little cubby beside the brake controller just pops out.
