Hey everyone... have a question... looking to do some monitoring on my truck, really want fuel pressure, EGT's and tranny temp.... was originally going to go with the edge CTS but I don't know because all those monitors require hook ups that the CTS doesn't have so would cost a good bit of cash and I am living on a college budget, however I want to do what is right in the long run... I was looking into getting a set of pillar gauges that would just do that which would be a heck of a lot cheaper then doing the CTS and all the hook ups, what does the CTS exactly monitor for the 6.0 without any of the hook ups and do you think its worth it to just do pillar gauges.... also how hard is it to hook all those gauges up yourself?

The things that the Edge won't monitor without purchasing "extras" are you fuel pressure and EGTs. It does monitor your Trans temp, Oil and Coolant temps, FICM voltage, along with many more.

I purchased the CS and the expandable EGT probe and love them. I'm upgrading to the "blue spring" fuel regulator which you can get for around $50 and not worry about your fuel pressure for quite some time. Until I get the funds for the Edge accessories to monitor fuel pressure.

for the 6.0L there is nothing better than the edge insight gauges...

yes.. other than the touchscreen part.. but they will both monitor exactly the same thing
