Gear shift end cap

Anyone have part number for the gear shifter end cap that comes off etc ? also if it can be purchased online that would be great, Thanks.

I don't think you can buy just the end-which sucks, because they all come off eventually.

you could just order a billet cover from ebay for like 20 bucks....it would cover it up if that's all you're worried about.

the end cap is missing on my `05 too, I've not tried looking for one yet.

Wish someone had a parts compnay that had a microfische you could order OEM parts off of online, I know there are some, but I mean a complete fische of all truck components. I could have swore you could order just the shifter cap from Ford.

Mine came off, and my gfs came off her F150 too. I superglued it back on.

I bought my truck with this button missing. I was hoping just the button itself had fallen off, but upon further inspection, it looks like the button broke requiring a new gear shift handle. Does just the handle end come off?

They all snap off-and it is physically breaking when it does-not just falling off. My 99 the entire handle broke off. I just superglued it on-never had it happen again, the problem is fixing it before you loose the piece!

Here ya go guys, this ebay auction has one for sale and list the part numbers, I think this one may be for the pre 05 F250/350's, can anyone confirm this ? Is the shift lever/end cap different on 05+ trucks ?
