Dash Pod- need help with painting to match

Just got a molded dash pod from Edge for my CTS and it came in tan. Called Edge and they said the 99-04 pods only come in one color and you have to paint it to match the interior if you so choose...

So... Other than buying a $20 can of spray paint from dieselmanor.com to match my gray interior, does anyone have any suggestions for a paint that will adhere to plastic, match my gray interior, and that I can get for a decent price? I wouldn't mind ordering the paint from dieselmanor, but I'm gonna use 1/8 of a can and the rest is gonna get put on the shelf and never used. Expensive paper weight in my book.

I called Autozone and the only color they had was a silver. Napa and O'Reillys is the same story. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My interior is flint gray. I think that's the specific color... Dark gray either way. And I'm back and forth between Enid and Stillwater quite a bit, but live in Stillwater.

well i have a have a can of Tan but that's not going to help is it. lol I know a 20 dollar can of paint sounds way too expensive but oriellys has SEM color match paint that's about 15 bucks and its awesome stuff. I know i real picky about color matching panels and the SEM stuff was perfect.

There is a company called color bond that makes paint for motorcraft (according to the email response I got from them). Not sure what it is worth because I can't find any locally, but I will be looking there once I get my CS and pod.

Whatever color you go with, just make sure you sand the pod real good with sand paper. This etches the plastic and gives the paint tiny grooves to hold on to. Otherwise it will probably just end up chipping off.
