Question Gauge pods

Ok, so I'm looking to mount my recently purchased gauges. I need pods for 2 1/16" / 52mm gauges. I want to mount two in the cluster and three under the dash. However the auto meter cluster pods say they are good up until 2004. My truck is a 06 Amarillo. I have seen the recent dash swap and was wondering if the gauge clusters are the same or close enough to not look stupid. I'm planning on modifying the under dash to work in the location I want so modifications to the cluster are possible if required.
