I have an 06 F350 Lariat 4X4 LB Crew. Whenever I park with the wheels at any angle, other than straight ahead, I have the darndest time getting the key to turn in the ignition.
I turn the wheel to the left before turning the key (nothing happens) and turn it to the right before turning the key (nothing happens). I adjust the tilt of the steering wheel and, so far, I have been able to get the ignition switch to turn. To avoid the problem, I only park with the wheels straight ahead, but something needs to be fixed. Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated. |

If the steering wheel locks, say if you have the wheel turned, take the key out, and the wheel returns to center (even just a little turn)...It takes a pretty good tub on the Fords to release as you turn the key.
