Project: Gauges below the radio
So here is the latest project; Custom mounted gauges below the radio. I started last night by cutting the Metra DashKit w/pocket. Keeping the pocket will allow the kit to remain rigid with all of the cutouts and modifications for the gauges. Still lots of work to do, so more to follow.

OK, so here is a mock up of what it will look like. The radio is not the radio going into the truck, but it is my spare. I need to fabricate a bracket or 3 to hold the gauges in place from behind. I've already test fit this mock up in the dash, and I'm 70% satisfied with the fit. Keep in mind that it will not go in until I'm 100% satified. More work to be done...Stay tuned!

Got the new radio in the mail. So now it's installed and the gauges are actually mounted. Now it's time for the final fit tests, then the wiring!
