I've never done an f-250 but I'm sure it can't be too dissimilar than the f-150s.

1.Remove the negative battery terminals
2. Depress and hold the brake in for about 2 minutes (this will get any residual voltage out of the lines before messing with the airbag)
3. There's 3 pins that stick through the back side of the steering wheel, they must all be pressed in at the same time (a skinny flat head works best for this)
4. Once all the pins are pressed in pull the airbag off and disconnect it
5. Un-bolt and disconnect any wiring harnesses

That's not a true "step by step" but that's the general steps from memory.

If it's like my 2004, you'll need a T-50 torx bit to unscrew the main bolt in the middle of the wheel--

And if it's like my 2004.... You'll need a 2 or 3 arm puller to tug it off the column without damaging the bearings. Mine was stuck on TIGHT... You may come up with a few new names for your truck when you're done!

I used this puller (it is a 2 or 3 jaw puller).
