Anyone running a factory wood covered wheel in their truck?

My leather wheel is beginning to show wear. I'm contemplating swapping the wheel for a wood/leather one from a Navigator (or similar).

Just curious if anyone has done this before?

Contact Bob Mansmith at rjmansmith@aol.com. He makes custom woodgrain steering wheels for Super Duties. He made one for my 04 and it looks great!

Guess I should have added that he did a leather/woodgrain wheel for me. You send him your old wheel and he refunds a core charge so he can make another new one. Fairly simple to change one out too. Takes about 30 min, unless yours is stuck to the column like mine was... Then is takes about two hours, a half a case of beer, and a dictionary of swear words.

I'm almost certain that's not the same guy... Bob matched the woodgrain pattern to my truck to a T. And he does any color leather to match your interior as well for the same price.

Try this outfit also. They do OEM products.

I think they are the suppliers for Ford's woodgrains.
