Question upfitter switch

Has anyone/can it be done:

install a upfitter switch in a 03-04 Superduty/Excursion?

I'm not really too worried about the tow command... It would be neat to install that also... but just really wanna try to put the upfitter switches in....

It can be done Ryan.

But it wont be as easy as it is on an 05 up. You need an 05 SD lower dash panel.

You need a keyed 50 amp power source. Thats it

Will the lower dash panel bolt right in? I thought they were made differently.

There will be a bit of a gap between the lower and upper unless you replace the upper too

What do you mean by keyed?

So... wiring up the upfitter switch and tow commnad won't be to hard to do?
(sorry haven't really looked into it yet)

Have to wire it so the switches have power when key is turned on.

Wont be able to do tow command on an 04 or older or an ex.

Tow command requires a different master cylinder to work correctly
