Carseat Diesel?
I just had a new born and my truck dosen't have the hooks for a carseat in it. Does anyone know where I can buy those hooks at so I can install them?

not sure on the hooks, all I do is use the center seat lap belt and run it thru the base. Holds well. Wish I had the latch system though....
there are the hooks behind the seats to hook the top belt for a full size car seat though |

Yeh I use the lap belt too works fine for me. I think 08 and newer have the hooks.

I have one that the seat detaches from the base and i just use the center lap belt as well. Untill he gets bigger and i switch to the forward faceing/ full size. Oh ya and congrats on the baby. I just had one a month ago

I have an almost 1 year old and I have been using the lap regular seat belt since October. My other car has the hooks in the seat and it is a lot easier than using the seat belt. I bought a seat to leave in the truck. I don't use the back seat very often, so the extra baby seat stays hooked up almost all the time. The new word on the block is to keep kids facing backwards until they are two years old. Congrats on the new little one by the way.

I too use the lap belt in the center of the rear seat. My sons carseat gets jockeyed between my work truck (2005 GMC Savana 2500) and my truck. Neither one has the hooks, but IMO either way is safe, especially since these trucks are fairly large and heavy. Congrats on the new ankle bitter!!
