New speaker advice

I'm looking at these: Alpine SPR-13S 5-1/4" component speaker system at Crutchfield Signature

Doesn't have to be those, but I want some better sound, i put new 6x8's in and they just aren't cutting it. I got a new pioneer head unit and it works great.

Should I also get a small amp with these? Not looking for a lot bass just want some good loud sound.

ive got 4 MB quart 6x8s with a profile amp in my truck right now and its pretty loud, kinda liked the infinity kappas in my old 90 better, but an amp will make a huge differance

I was going to do a component set up with a small amp. However, I just went with a special Crutchfiled was running on Polks. Got them dirt cheap and they sound great. They were PERFECT for mid and high in the truck, just needed to add some bass so I ran one 10" JL, all sounds really good now.

Do you think I need to replace the rear speakers too?

Definately going to get an amp then.. maybe a sub later down the road, a small one.
