RegularCab Sound System

Well hopefully I posted in the right place, if not Admin feel free to move.

I own a '03 Regular Cab 6.OH.
Wanted to ask for some help from the guys/girls here on the ORG.

Subs are hard to find, and fit behind the seat of a regular cab. So, any input on what to buy sub wise would be appreciated.

- side note. Im looking for a flip-out head unit, single din.

Input on what would work, the best bang for my buck, or input at all IS appreciated.

ive got a panasonic HU hooked up to a 4 channel profile amp and MB Quarts all the way around, I am wondering how to get a small 8 or 10 behind the seat as well

i will get a pic of mine. its pretty nice setup. i have a 10 inch kicker L5 in kickers truck box sitting right behind the console. hooked up to a mono block 2000w amp(wayyy over powered) but its nice. in the next week or so when i decide if im selling my truck or not i will be putting infiniti speakers with there own amp just for some clearer sound quality.

it should still work behind a bench seat. i will look at our 04 with bench seat tomorrow for fitment. i have been looking to take my console out for a jump or bench seat. i wish i had the bigger cab.

(ps my passenger seat is leaned back real far against the sub box thats why it looks like its pushing against the box. i took my BIGGER friend to go look at a new truck with me. ahaha)

I love you setup brother! How much did it cost in all, and was it hard to install? Ive owner L7s before and I know they pound! But whats the difference between an L5s and L7s?

Space is the problem, and sub boxes are hard to find for single/regular cabs!

That is kickers truck box. Theyare not rare at all U can buy the sub and amp on eBay for like 200 brand new. It's an easy install. Sounds great.

I had a 12 L7 in a custom box I made but wasn't nearly enough air space so I down graded to a ten. Perfect for our regular cabs. The L7 has a bigger coil and magnet. The sound difference isn't that different between the two. The ten sounds alot better in my truck. That sub will still sound good with a cheap amp. My friend had one with a cheap 600 watt amp and was still decent. I love the look of the sub right behind the console It looks like a custom install. Hahaha.
