How to turn off courtesy lights

Would anyone know how I can put a switch or something where I can have the doors open and not have the the courtsey lights on? Thanks

I HEARD SOMEONE PUT A SWITCH SOMEWHERE TO TURN THE LIGHTS OFF BUT I DONT REMEMBER WHERE I SAW THAT

There is a black with light blue tracer wire in the passenger kickpanel that feeds the interior light as well as lighted running boards. It is a positive wire so all you should need to do is cut the wire, solder a wire to each end of the cut, run those two wires to your toggle.
The passenger kick panel is referenced in the directed alarm/remote start install. I think I found mine in the driver's side. The BK/LB wire, I double checked with AllData and that is the correct wire that feeds the lights.
