Insight CS finally done

Finally got my CS install complete. It certainly took me long enough. First they sent me the wrong gauge pod for my truck, then the EGT probe was on back order, then when i finally get all the parts and I was drilling the exhaust manifold for the probe my drill bit snapped off inside of the manifold. Now I got the whole system installed and I love this monitor. I really couldn't ask for a better setup. A real pain in the a*# but well worth it. lol

Wow you definitely had quite a few issues before you got it installed. Glad you finally got everything worked out and are loving it. It is one of the best mods you can do.

good deal.. I've got the Evo CS on my truck, and still have to install the EGT probe. I hope to not have issues with that part, as I did experience some weird AZZ compatibility issue with the programmer.

Yea it really is a nice system. Beats analog gauges especially because I got to keep my fat man bar. even though I am not fat anymore., and I don't think anybody can have as many issues as I did. The drill bit breaking was just a freak accident.

I drilled my manifold while I had the heads off last year, and put a pipe plug in it. But I made a mark on it before removing the head, from the under side. Right where the manifold takes its turn after the rear most cylinder.

VERY easy to access when the truck is all back together. If I had to do one while the manifold was on the truck, I would use the same area. Leave the truck running, high idle on, and put in some ear plugs lol.

And yes I agree, the Edge CS is one of my favorite mods.

I am interested in seeing a pic of it mounted as well. I just picked up a CS for $100 off the list, because it is missing the OBDII cable, I will just order a new one from edge. Cant wait to get it all done.
