Lariat steering wheel in a xlt

I've been thinking about installing a steering wheel out of a 05 lariat superduty with all the radio and a/c buttons in my 04 XLT. The wheel I know will fit without a problem but what about the wiring? Are the 04-05 trucks wired the same? I know I will have to upgrade to the electronic ac controls. Would all of the wiring provisions be in my XLT as they are in a lariat? Any info is much appreciated.

It's going to be a very involved swap. You will need a complete wiring harness for the steering wheel controls and to the stereo as none of the wiring for the wheel controls will be there. As far as swapping to the EATC air controls that is not easy either. You will need a find a vehicle with it and pull all the wiring, sensors, and motors for it. It is not a direct drop in replacement.
