Smile 99-07 CONSOLE SOLUTION FOR SUPERDUTYS

Hey guys,This is what I did for a console in my 1999 superduty.I was never a big fan of the jump seat.I used a expidition/navagator console. It fits the 99 dash up to 07 dash i know cause I converted my dash to an 07 dash. There are two different consoles, one with skinner console lid for seats with armrest and one with a wider console lid for seats without armrests.I installed a skinner one incase I ever upgrade my seats to ones with an armrest.

99-03 console If I remember correctly.I have few of them in my basement. The console is great cause I have 4 cup holders,2 from the dash and 2 on the console. Some of the consoles even came with cd changes and (dont laugh) VCRs in them.

That looks great, does it bolt right up, or do you have to fab anything up? Now, just to find a grey one for my 05!!!

if you want to take it a step farther, you can swap in a 04-08 shifter assembly with a little fiberglass work. a friend just finished this up recently.

edit: if anyone wants to figure out if the 05-07 lid will fit on the wide console i'd appreciate it.

Wow, that looks awesome! I'd much rather have that center console that the one in mine! Can you do a write up on the conversion?

Thanks guys.I'll try and answer everyones question in one post here.It did basically bolt right up.I only had to file down the bottom middle sides 2 the shape of the floor, but very slightly. And the only problem is you cant open the lower dash cubby/ashtray,But I gained the tray infront of the cup holders on the console and the consoles glove box.
I do have a grey and two tan consoles in my basement maybe I'll ebay them if there is an interest.

Do you know if there would me enough clearance for the 4x4 shifter? If it would fit I would be interested in a tan console possibly
