King Ranch HELP!

I have fallen victim to my 5 year old, and a Bic Pen. My oldest got in the back seat, and nice ol' dad said he could draw on his pad on the way home. Somewhere through the crazyness of the ride home, he managed to write on my perty brown seats. I tried wiping it out with a baby wipe to no avail. Also tried soaking with conditioner. Someone please give me an idea of what I can do to get this out. If I can't, I guess I'll just finish up the drawing and make it look like a brand or something.

Sorry man, maybe some alcohol or something like that may cut it. Have you tried soapy water, then retreat the leather once dry.

I was joking, the smiley's don't seem to work tonight. I was going to try some stuff tomorrow, I just think the alcohol will over dry the leather. we'll see what happens.

Yeah, thats the good thing about leather, but if it comes off quick, and you retreat it, it may not be bad. Also, you may want to try a test patch on the back lower corner of one. See if it does too much to it. Just some ideas.

If no one comes up with anything here, if you have a western store around you that sells saddles and stuff, they may have something that will clean it up.

You might try some saddle soap. It cleans up saddles pretty good.

We used to scrub our saddles to get all kinds of stuff out with this wax soap stuff. I think that might get it. Just afraid with it being my truck and all.

Thats what I was just thinking, but seeing how I have never been close enough to a KR to even know how the leather was, I was not sure if it would work.

I thought Ford had an all purpose cleaner or something that works really well on leather??? Cant remember where I heard that from (possibly my dad, so who knows) but that might be a place to start??

If not - try a detailer in your area
