Door pop

On my 05 cc/sb the rear drivers side door makes a popping sound when driving down the road. I'm just trying to figure out what could be causing it. I think something could have broken inside the door from it getting slammed shut.

Got the same problem on my 05 CC, it appears to be worse when cornering or going over somewhat rough roads.

I would be curious if anyone has found the solution yet.

Pop is mirror assembly

I removed my door panel yesterday to try and find the pop. When I drove the truck after the panel was removed I definatley heard the noise much better. To sum things up it is not anything inside the door panel. It is the mirror assembly! When I push and pull on the mirror I hear the pop sound. I can hear this inside and outside the truck. I folded the mirror in all the way and drove the truck. I did not hear the pop. I stopped and folded the mirror out and drove, again heard the pop. This does not make any sense to me. I checked the mirror on the other side and it does not make the pop when pushed and pulled on. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I take it to the dealer and let them figure it out? I hate taking it to the dealer for stuff like this. They keep it forever and I normally have to take it back multiple times. Has anyone had the mirror assembly apart?

Mine makes a Pop/Rattle. When i put pressure on the door it quits. I started checking it out and found it to be the door touching the catch that holds the door shut. A bit of Elect. tape on the catch stoped it.
