Question Seat belt dinger

I have a 2004 F-250 psd I have tried 5 or 6 times to disable the beltminder on my truck. I have followed the instructions in the owners manual, but have not been sucessful. I think they go something like this. turn switch to run. wait for seatbelt light to go out. buckle and unbuckle 9 times, ending with it unbuckled. light will blink then buckle and unbuckle. Was wonderring if anyone else has had a problem with this?

On my 01 if it goes off while you are driving it just push the release in for a sec and it wont ding the rest of the time until you shut the truck off and restart again

Ive tried that, It doesnt work on mine. Ford must have thought that was too easy for the driver, and changed it.

They fixed that on the newer Fords. My 04 Expedition, you couldn't push the button to turn it off either.

Smile No.6 in 06' Manual 6.0L PSD

As above ,withtin 7 sec of the safety belt warning light turning off, Buckle then Un-Buckle the safetybelt.
This part of the procedure was in error of print as far as for my Truck,
The Dealer I bought the truck from while still under warranty
Their best electronic tech could not do it
using the manual that came with the truck....???????
So by chance the above indicated #6 on page 107 of the 06' Manual
was in error in regard for proper times performed by USER doing the process.
I wrote down in my manual that 3x's instead of 2x's (sets of clicking)
If i can explain this in a better format pvt messg me,

Just either ( 3 ) as 1.Buckle 2.Unbuckle 3.Buckle////or////
Buckle and Unbuckle as a set 3x's.
Ex...... buckle/unbuckle
buckle/unbuckle
buckle/unbuckle

The Manual said buckle and unbuckle only once ??????
The Tech at the dealer tried two times instaead of one tryin to be crafty and after tryin all this for 10-15 minutes said hr tried three and by chance it confirmed its correction in programing by the warning light flashing ( 4x's) per second for 3 seconds.

If you would like further information in regards to this post, Pvt. Messg. Me
Good luck...............and Man I hope this HELPS.
PS:Try and do a combination of either ,AND, (Both) Startegy's mentioned above , it appeared that if you process the procedure 3-4 times like the Manual says then go to (TWO) 2 Sets of #6 procedures a couple (2) times ,,,THEN FINISH WITH THE THREE (3) SETS AS I DESCRIBED. They got her done in about 20-25 min of FORD Dealer Service Techs messin' wit it.
AGAIN ,,,,,,,,,I hope this is the answer 2 your issue..
Let mre know how goes it...................

The easiest thing to do is to reach under the seat and unplug the wires going to the clicker. I did that and haven't had any problems. Its hard to do it on regular cabs with power seat but its possible.
